Food WG 1 member, LINXS Fellow

Mehdi is senior researcher at division of food and nutrition science at Chalmers University of Technology. Mehdi’s research profile and expertise is on alternative proteins, their chemistry and functionality. Texturizing alternative proteins using extrusion and 3D printing and its relationship with protein structure is a main focus.

Food packaging is another research area which he is actively working on with focus on biobased and active packaging materials.
