Vania Calandrini is a physicist interested in the molecular processes relevant to subcellular signaling. By combining statistical physics, experiments, and simulations her group develops multiscale models and computational methods (from atomistic/coarse grained to mesoscale) to describe internal protein dynamics, protein-ligand binding and collective transport phenomena.
