Cedric Dicko
Dynamics Working Group Dynamics of Membranes and their Constituents Member, LINXS Fellow
Cedric Dicko is an associated professor at division for Pure and Applied Biochemistry, Chemistry Dept. Cedric activities revolved around protein based-materials, their production, characterization and exploitation asnovel materials and biocatalysts.
His main area of research focuses on the application of biospectroscopy (and scattering) to investigate self-assembly and structure function relationship in soft biomaterials, using silk materials as a model. His work focuses on the importance of ‘microstructures’ in biological organisation and how their organisation at the microscopic level dramatically affect and determine macroscopic properties of biological systems.
