New Materials WG 4 Member, Catalysis, LINXS Fellow

Per-Anders Carlsson is a Professor of Materials and Surface Sciences at the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. He is heading the Chalmers Materials Analysis Laboratory and is active within the Competence Centre for Catalysis. He received his PhD in chemical engineering from Chalmers in 2004. After working a few years as a development engineer and team leader in the industrial business sector, he shifted his focus towards an academic career. Driven by curiosity, he adopts a physical inorganic chemistry approach to explore atomic and molecular properties and processes of materials "at work", and how these can be used in sustainable technologies.
