Gary Harlow
New Materials WG 4 Member, Catalysis, LINXS Fellow
Gary Harlow is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark where he works in the Nano-electrochemistry group. Gary got his Ph.D. in 2016 from the University of Liverpool, UK where his thesis focused on using surface x-ray diffraction to investigate fundamental electrocatalysis. After that he worked at Lund University, first as a postdoc where he used several synchrotron techniques to investigate the structure and formation of templated nanoparticles formed via electrodeposition. He was then employed as a researcher at Lund University where he worked on developing the use of high-energy surface x-ray diffraction in electrochemistry. One of his main goals is to use synchrotron based techniques to establish structure-function relationships in electrocatalysis, that will hopefully lead to the development of new catalysts for a sustainable future.
