Nitisha is a doctoral student at the Department of Experimental Medical Science, Lund University, Sweden. As part of her PhD, she will be undertaking X-ray crystallographic studies of urocanate reductase (UrdA) to develop therapeutic interventions for type 2 diabetes under the co-supervision of Professor Karin Lindkvist and Dr Raminta Venskutonytė.
