Filippo Minutolo is a full professor of Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Pisa (IT) since 2016, after being an associate professor (2006-2016) and a researcher (2001-2006) at the same institution. He holds a PhD in Chemistry (1996) issued by Scuola Normale Superiore (Pisa, IT), which includes a year at the University of Groningen (NL) as a visiting graduate student in the research group of Prof. Ben L. Feringa [Nobel prize in Chemistry 2016]. In 1997-1999 he was a visiting post-doctoral research associate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (USA) in the research group of Prof. John A. Katzenellenbogen.
He has a 30 year experience in the design and synthesis of bioactive molecules and the results of his research were published in 140 peer-reviewed articles (H-index = 34), several international patents and numerous congress communications.

He is member of the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC, Bruxelles) and served as panel member in various national and international funding campaigns.
