Opportunities in Imaging Working Group member, LINXS Fellow

David Paterson led the development of the Australian Synchrotron’s X-ray Fluorescence Microscopy beamline and has more than two decades of experience in synchrotron radiation research.David has a passionate interest in using X-ray fluorescence microscopy to improve our lives particularly in the fields of environmental science and new materials research. 
His research interests are focused on disruptive technology in X-ray fluorescence microscopy, particularly detector and data acquisition schemes. He has fostered and promoted the R&D100 awarded Maia detector at the Australian Synchrotron.
