Powerful Synchrotrons allow researchers a deep look into biological tissues, like pancreas, kidney, liver, nerves etc. Traveling at nearly the speed of light, electrons emit intense synchrotron radiation revealing hidden structures and other features of biological specimens with great penetration depth.
