LINXS Annual Report Highlights 2021 is out!

Read about last year’s activities within our themes, reflections from the Scientific Advisory Board, and words from the two Directors in 2021 - Stephen Hall and Trevor Forsyth. We also highlight statistics from our scientific activities, reflect on the themes that concluded, the new themes that were launched and we share some featured news articles from last year.

Overall, 2021 was yet again a year that was marked by the global coronavirus pandemic. However LINXS we continued to work in new ways and interacting online, growing our educational resources section that can be found via LINXS website. A number of webinars, zoom meetings and hybrid meetings and seminars also took place.

During the year we were also able to observe, through the development of the working groups’ activities, that LINXS has an important role in the incubation of initiatives and transdisciplinary research communities beyond LINXS, at local, national, and international levels.

We would like to thank everyone who contributed to the development of LINXS this year; our staff, board and SAB, LINXS fellows, visitors, as well as participants at our activities. We look forward to further developing LINXS in supporting and advancing X-ray and neutron science locally, nationally, and internationally in the coming year.

Trevor Forsyth, LINXS Director
Stephen Hall, LINXS former Director
