Sign up for a conference on chemical biology, organised by WG2 of the ChemLife theme.
When: 3-4 September 2024
Where: LINXS (Scheelevägen 19, Lund), workshop room on the 5th floor and ESS
Registration information: Please register latest 26/8 to join the tour at ESS
Description
One of the defining features of chemical biology is the design and application of small-molecule ligands as chemical probes to study biology. Chemical probes that are designed to interact with a specific macromolecule or small-biomolecule - with high affinity and selectivity - can facilitate the study of phenotypes associated with the macromolecule or small-biomolecule and its function. This working group is interested in the design and application of chemical probes to study the structure and function of biomolecules. This includes the design and use of small molecules for sample design and preparation for X-ray and neutron scattering experiments.

We have been made aware of a concerning issue regarding phishing emails from “travel agencies” targeting speakers scheduled for our LINXS events. If you are in any doubt about the legitimacy of an email regarding travel arrangements, please contact the organisers! Please note that LINXS will never request speakers to pay invoices for later reimbursement (as the phishing emails might suggest).
During our events we sometimes take photographs and short film clips to profile our activities. Please let us know if you don’t want to be in any photos/films before we start the event. Some webinars are recorded to be used for educational purposes in the LINXS website.
By registering to our events you give your permission to LINXS, according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), to register your name and e-mail address to be used for the sole purpose of distributing newsletters and communications on LINXS activities.
