Welcome to a workshop about Magnetic SANS – Data and Software
When: Thursday April 20, 09:00 - 17.00 CET including lunch
Registration deadline: April 17, 2023. After that date we cannot guarantee lunch.
Where: at LINXS (Scheelvägen 19, Lund), 5th floor (on-site participation) and on ZOOM (online participation): link below.
Who can benefit from participation: Researchers using SANS in general and/or magnetic SANS in particular, which have pre-knowledge on SANS data acquisition and analysis.
Abstract
Building up on the productive first magnetic SANS workshop in June 2022 in Lund, we would like to build on the outcomes by a follow-up meeting.
According to the needs of the user community, we will address remaining open action items for the analysis of magnetic SANS data, and how they can be realized. In small discussion groups, we will concentrate on formulating (i) the experimental and data analysis requirements, (ii) an idea how this can be programmed, and (iii) directly posting the specific descriptions on github, such that it can be implemented e.g. into SasView.
Agenda:
9:00 Recap of the first magnetic SANS workshop and preparation for group discussions
Plenary room on 5th floor
Short introduction of new participants
Recap of previously posted action items
